Geoff Taylor
The founder of The Emigration Group, Geoff holds dual UK and New Zealand citizenship and now divides his time between New Zealand, the UK, and Australia. Clients can benefit from his unrivalled insight into life 'down under'. Prior to his involvement in migration, Geoff complimented his degree in marketing with ten years experience within a range of service industries.
Paul Arthur
With over twenty years experience in helping people relocate overseas, Paul is very much a customer-focused individual. Prior to joining The Emigration Group he worked for a leading international removal company. As well as advising on all aspects of immigration policy, Paul can provide expert advice on the shipment of all your personal belongings. Like Geoff, Paul now divides his time between the UK, New Zealand, and Australia.
Mike McShane
Mike completed his Accountancy qualifications in Australia and has lived and worked in Adelaide, Perth and Sydney. His Australian business experience coupled with living there for long periods give him a wealth of knowledge on how to successfully assimilate into the Australian way of life. Mike joined The Emigration Group in 2005.
Colin Mitten
Colin joined The Emigration Group in 2007 to spearhead our further expansion within Australasian recruitment and resettlement. When moving to NZ, he initially bought and managed a large manufacturing company in Auckland, which he sold in 2007. Formerly, Colin worked in Investment Banking and was a Director of the Welsh Development Agency, responsible for Economic Development in Wales. Colin now advises local government in Auckland on economic development matters.
Richard Bradshaw
An Industrial Technology graduate, Richard pursued a successful career within manufacturing technology in the UK. He also maintains an active interest in information technology. Richard joined The Emigration Group in 1994 when emigrating. He is now a New Zealand citizen based permanently in NZ where he manages our Auckland office.
Jill Boukheddar - Visa Administration
Having graduated in Art History, Jill came to the UK in 1990 on the 'big OE' from New Zealand. She worked in retail management before returning to university, completing a PGCE in Early Years' Teaching. Joining The Emigration Group in 2004, her encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Kiwi is an invaluable resource for clients and colleagues alike.
Sarah Bowyer - Visa Administration Team Leader
A Business graduate, Sarah spent six years with the Australian Department of Immigration progressing to Senior Immigration Officer. On leaving, she received a Certificate of Appreciation for her 'excellent client service skills and knowledge of regulations'. Joining us in 2001, her knowledge of immigration working practices will benefit clients.
Joanna Brizell - Administration
Joanna initially worked in the conveyancing department of a local law firm for 4 years. She then took time off to raise a family before emigrating to New Zealand in 1999 when she joined The Emigration Group. Joanna provides a wide administrative role for us including a support service for our consultants.
Lee Bromfield - Visa Administration
Lee joined the Australian Consulate in Manchester from university and quickly progressed to Senior Immigration Officer. When the consulate closed in 1999, he too received a Certificate of Appreciation for his 'excellent service skills'. Lee joined The Emigration Group in February 2004, bringing a wealth of Australian immigration experience with him.
Florence Buegge-Borshoff - Visa Administration
An Australian Registered Migration Agent, No. 92 55934 and a full member of the Migration Institute of Australia, Florence can provide invaluable Visa Administration assistance. From her base in Sydney, NSW, she is also perfectly placed to provide much needed settlement assistance to those clients relocating to New South Wales.
Ceris Evans - Office Administration Manager
Ceris's main focus and experience has been in customer care, a role she has excelled in for 13 years before joining The Emigration Group in 2003. She is responsible for providing an effective support service to our London based consultants, and also for ensuring smooth client liaison in respect of Jobsearch clients.
Christine Grass - Accounts
With 25 years experience in the service sector, Christine joined The Emigration Group in 1996, initially as Jobsearch Client Liaision Manager. Since then, she has held various key roles and gained a wealth of experience on all aspects of company functions, both in the United Kingdom & New Zealand.
Tracy Hockings - Resettlement Consultant
Tracy is a UK qualified teacher. She joined The Emigration Group Australasian team in 2008 to assist in the management of our expanding Resettlement Programmes. Tracy has had extensive personal international relocation experience, having lived in many countries and fully understands the needs of migrating families. Tracy and her family reside in Auckland.
Andrew James - Consultant
Based in our London office, Andrew provides a permanent presence in the south. All his working life has been within a service industry environment, with a commitment to provide the very best level of service to clients. Having worked overseas and travelled extensively in Australia, Andrew is familiar with the Antipodean lifestyle.
Chris Maloney - Visa Administration
Educated to post-graduate level in business administration, and with substantial overseas experience in senior administrative positions, Chris joined The Emigration Group in 2004. Having lived and worked in more than half a dozen countries helps ease clients through the maze of paper involved in visa processing.
Mandy Mitten - Resettlement Consultant
Mandy has enjoyed a successful career in sales and customer service in both the public and private sectors. She joined The Emigration Group in 2001 as a consultant. In 2003, after a visit to New Zealand with her family, they decided to emigrate themselves! Mandy is now our Resettlement Consultant in New Zealand, based in Auckland.
Annette Paenga - Administration
Annette Paenga, a Kiwi, joined The Emigration Group in 1999 after returning from living in the UK for several years. Her previous work experience has largely been within Public Relations and Marketing, in which she has held managerial roles. With varied responsibilities, Annette brings exceptional people skills and an efficient work ethic to our team.
Linda Parry - Administration
Linda joined The Emigration Group in 2003, having a strong background in office administration and customer services. She is involved in many aspects of our administration, from dealing with initial enquiries and prompt dispatch of relevant information packs to organizing client’s resettlement service requirements.
Claire Pepler - Administration
Initially trained as a Nursery Nurse, Claire changed career direction, electing for a customer focused role with the Chester Grosvenor Hotel, where she quickly progressed to Senior Reservations Co-ordinator. Joining The Emigration Group in 2004, her enjoyment and experience within customer services helps greatly in her client contact role with us.
Amanda Reid - Visa Administration
Prior to joining The Emigration Group in 2007, Amanda spent 11 years working for a national pub company where she developed an impressive track record. Consistently delivering projects and services to a high standard within allocated timescales saw her promoted to an Operations Administration Supervisor role. Amanda’s ‘can do’ attitude and organisational skills are perfectly suited to her work within our Visa Administration Team.
Allister Simpson - Consultant
A Kiwi from the South Island resort town of Queenstown, Allister spent seven years in the adventure tourism business before coming to England and joining The Emigration Group in 2005. As well as providing in depth knowledge of life in New Zealand, Allister has spent time in Australia and is passionate about promoting the fantastic Antipodean lifestyle.
Sally Tomkinson - Visa Administration Team Leader
Prior to joining The Emigration Group, Sally spent thirteen years within a large retail organisation. Most of this experience was in customer care and senior administration roles. Sally has been quick to prove how valuable her skills are in her daily dealings with our clients, from whom she regularly receives glowing letters of thanks.
Diane Vale - Visa Administration
Diane is an experienced administrator. In her previous role as a client service manager for an Independent Financial Adviser she required judgement and a speedy response to client matters, attention to detail, tracking and progressing of new business. Such experience provides a sound background for the detail of visa administration.
lan Wallace - Consultant/Policy Adviser
Last but by no means least, Ian is our longest serving employee. With a general personnel background, Ian joined The Emigration Group in 1994 as a consultant and subsequently managed our Visa Administration team for seven years. He now works part-time as a consultant evaluating all initial client eligibility assessments as well as advising on both Australian and New Zealand immigration policy.
